TROOP BOOM
Privacy Policy
Published and effective:
This policy explains how Troop Boom handles information in its current Android closed-test build, on troopboom.com, and when you contact us. The Android package identifier is com.troopboom.game.
Who is responsible
Troop Boom is developed and operated by Eltjani Idres, an individual based in the United Arab Emirates. For privacy questions or requests, contact hello@troopboom.com.
The current game
The current test build has no login or player accounts, paid purchases, integrated advertising, or developer-operated cloud saves. Gameplay does not require you to provide a name, email address, phone number or other contact details.
We have not integrated an advertising, behavioural analytics or remote crash-reporting SDK into this build. The game does not send gameplay progress, advertising identifiers or player profiles to a developer-operated server. Its artwork, models and audio are bundled with the app.
AdMob is planned for a future build, but is not active in the current build. Before introducing advertising or other services that change these practices, we will update this policy and provide any applicable notices and choices.
Information used on your device
The game saves progression in the app's private local storage using shared preferences. This includes earned in-game currency, upgrade levels, selected and unlocked stages, checkpoints, completed stages and best survivor results. These records let you continue playing and retain your achievements.
Game settings, such as music and sound controls, are handled on the device. Some settings are held only for the current app session. The game also uses device graphics and audio capabilities to render scenes and play sound. It does not use the microphone to record audio.
The inspected Android release does not request Internet, camera, microphone, location, contacts, external-storage or advertising-ID permissions. Its Android components include a signature-protected internal receiver permission; this is not a request to access your personal information. The app uses touch controls; we found no game feature subscribing to motion-sensor data.
Device backups and deletion of game data
The Android build does not explicitly disable the operating system's app-data backup and restore features. Depending on your Android version, device manufacturer and backup settings, local progress may be included in a cloud backup or transferred to another device by Google or your device provider. This is separate from a Troop Boom cloud-save service, and we do not have access to your device backup.
Progress remains on the device until it is overwritten, the app's storage is cleared, or the app is uninstalled. To remove local progress, use Android Settings, open Troop Boom's app information and choose the option to clear storage or app data. This action resets your progress. Uninstalling normally removes the local app data, but a retained backup may restore it if you reinstall.
Manage or delete backup copies through your device or backup-provider settings. We cannot remotely erase a device or a backup we do not control. See Google's Android backup guidance.
Software and platform services
The game uses Flutter and libraries for game logic, state management, local preferences, audio playback and 3D rendering. The inspected dependencies include Flame, Riverpod, shared_preferences, audioplayers and the three_js/ANGLE rendering components. Their presence does not mean they operate an analytics service for Troop Boom.
Google Play, Android and your device provider may independently process installation, update, security, backup or diagnostic information under their own settings and policies. For example, Google Play may make test feedback or crash and stability information available to a developer through its platform services. This is separate from an in-game crash-reporting SDK. See the Google Privacy Policy. What platform diagnostics are actually available depends on the platform and your settings.
Visits to this website
Troopboom.com is hosted and delivered through Cloudflare. When you visit, Cloudflare necessarily processes technical request information, such as your IP address, requested URL, request time, browser or device headers, and connection or security information, to deliver the site, protect it and operate its infrastructure. Hosting, security logs and any provider traffic or performance measurements are separate from the game's local progression data.
The website has no player account system, email signup form or advertising integration. Website code does not upload your saved game progress. Cloudflare's processing and retention depend on the services and settings in use; we do not promise that hosting involves no third-party processing. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
Support emails
If you email hello@troopboom.com, we receive your email address, the information you include, and ordinary email delivery information. We use these details to respond, investigate a problem and keep relevant support correspondence. Email delivery and mailbox providers process these messages as part of providing their services. Please avoid sending passwords or unnecessary sensitive information.
Support correspondence is retained for as long as reasonably needed to handle the enquiry, related follow-up, security issues or applicable legal obligations. You may ask us to delete correspondence by emailing the same address. We will assess the request and explain any information we need to retain. We have not set a fixed retention period for provider-managed email or hosting logs; those providers' configurations and retention practices also apply.
Sharing and international processing
We do not sell your personal information or use the current game to build advertising profiles. Information involved in website visits and support requests is processed by the service providers described above. We may also disclose information where necessary to comply with a legal obligation or respond to a lawful request.
The developer is based in the UAE. Website hosting, support email and platform or backup services may process information in other countries where those providers operate. Local game progress remains on the device unless a device backup or transfer service handles it as described above. Provider arrangements and your device settings determine where such processing occurs.
Children's privacy
Troop Boom is intended for people aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. The current game does not ask players to submit personal information. If you believe a child has sent personal information to us through support or another channel, contact hello@troopboom.com so we can review it and take appropriate action.
Your questions and choices
You can clear local app data, manage device backups and choose whether to contact support. For questions about information we hold, or requests to access, correct or delete support information, email hello@troopboom.com. We may need enough information to verify that a request concerns your correspondence. There is no Troop Boom account to delete in the current build.
Updates to this policy
We will revise this policy when data practices change and update the publication or effective date shown above. Material changes, including a future advertising integration, will be explained with the updated build or other appropriate notice. This page describes the current build's practices; planned features are not described as already active.
